The Listowel Wingham Hospitals Alliance was formed on July 1, 2003 as a partnership between Listowel Memorial Hospital and Wingham and District Hospital. As an Alliance, we share a common management structure with a single management team and one Mission, Vision & Values. There are still two separate corporations, however, the two boards meet at the same time as a single Alliance Board. We look for opportunities to share services and programs across our two communities and find creative ways to link to our community partners.

New Family Physician Joins Listowel Wingham Hospital Alliance to Enhance Community Care
LWHA is pleased to welcome Dr. Christine Arjoon to our medical team, an important step in addressing the critical physician shortage impacting healthcare access in our region. With numerous residents currently without a family doctor, Dr. Arjoon’s arrival will greatly enhance access to timely, community-based care

Wingham and District Hospital Announces Start of Construction for New CT Scanner
Wingham and District Hospital is pleased to announce the commencement of
construction for a new state-of-the-art CT scanner. The construction will begin on January 20, 2025.
